Grilled fish is a typical Portuguese dish and is very popular in Melaka. They are also known as "ikan bakar / ikan panggang" to most Melakans. It is a common norm to use sting ray fish for this dish and it tastes even better when wrapped with banana leaves or grilled in a foil wrap (ala-Portugeuse-style).
