Best Sarawak Kolo Mee in Johor Bahru (JB)

Written by Updated ago

A dish that one should never forget trying when visiting Sarawak is the well-known Kolo Mee (also known as Mi Kolok). Fret not, the famous springy egg noodles coated with sauce is also available elsewhere in the country. Other than the customary Red Kolo Mee, the sweet and fragrant dish is also served in other varieties, typically either in its original colour, or black (coated with vegetable oil or soy sauce instead of the usual red-coloured lard dripping from BBQ pork). The latter variation is also more common in pork-free and halal eateries.
