Best Hand Pulled Noodles in Klang Valley

Written by Updated ago

What's better than a standard bowl of noodles? Well, hand pulled, of course! The art of taking a blob of dough, stretching and multiple times and making a thin and consistent set of noodles is incredible. Simply watching them performing at the front of the shop (at most times) is mesmerising enough. Place them in a hot bowl of broth alongside delicious toppings and you have a set of luxurious la mian.

This may not be your average Japanese ramen as it is one of Paradise Dynasty's best selling dish. It may also look incredibly simple but the flavours developed through the long hours of cooking the pork-bone broth really comes through. The noodles are also handmade and pulled on a daily basis. As a whole, the ramen taste absolutely amazing and the thick slices of pork belly really adds on richness to the dish.

    Dragon-i

You can pretty much find Dragon-i in almost every mall, and there is a reason for that. Not only because it's a great place to hold company meetings and lunches, but it is a great place to have some freshly pulled noodles as well. From the basic of noodles with chicken broth, to something a little more unique like the szechuan la mian, or perhaps the dried minced meat la mian, all of which are really delicious.

Dong Bei Restaurant is a pretty simple place located not that far off Berjaya Times Square in KL. Having said that, this restaurant actually offers a pretty diverse range of delicious Chinese delicacies which of course, includes their signature hand pulled noodles (la mian) as well. Feeling bloated? Why not try out their kimchi variant with light and tangy kimchi broth, or take a dive at the dry variant which offers a richer and more impactful experience - it's your choice.

    Grand Imperial

It is without a doubt that Grand Imperial is a pretty fine place. With bright and posh looking decor, excellent service and a series of dishes to behold, having brunch or dinner here is certainly quite enjoyable. As for their hand pulled noodles (la mian), there are several variety available. One of the most popular is the szechuan version, which is both spicy and sour - a lovely combination of flavour that excites!
