For the regulars, it's known that you can order a whole piece of fish and dump it in your steamboat, for those who are new - voila! Furthermore, the essence of the soup will be nicely soaked within the fish, thus giving it all that flavour it needs. It's not exactly a steamed fish, but it does have similar traits. After all, it's not entirely submerged within the broth.

    Tips

    Reservations recommended.

Going into Ocean Seafood Village is similar to kids being allowed in Toy R' Us by their parents - just that the air is slightly fishy as compared. Anyway, the restaurant itself has a huge area dedicated fish tanks, where you'll find an extensive variety of fishes, crabs, prawns, and various shell fish. Simply pick the type of fish you want, choose the size according to your budget and indulge. It's fresh, it's flaky and it's undeniably delicious.

Soaking up all the flavours, the fish head is also incredibly tender and flaky - great to go with some rice, or simply have it on its own.
