Best Rojak in KL

Written by Updated ago

Rojak is quintessentially the most Malaysian dish. Be it a rojak mamak or the Penang style rojak, this dish is one of our favourite, and it tastes even more awesome if you’re eating under the tree or next to the van where the rojak boss is selling (somehow Malaysians have so many unique dining preferences). If you don’t mind the scorching sun, come with us to discover some of the best Rojak stalls in the heart of the city!

This old uncle is one who has been trading here for the past 10 years and prior to this at the famous stalls located at TTDI. The sauce he conjures up are thick and aromatic which compliments the other condiments that he adds to this dish which includes a blanched browned sotong, grilled sotong, blanched kangkung (water spinach), chopped pineapples, cucumbers, papaya with crunchy yau char kuai slices. He finishes it off with a sprinkling of crushed peanuts and a dash of calamansi lime juice which brings together all the flavors and textures so well. You would definitely be back for more, once you’ve tried this uncle’s rojak!
