Best Pastas in KL

Written by Updated ago

It’s not new to have spaghetti every once in a while today. After getting bored of our usual meal of rice and dishes, its nice to have the tables turned for a meal or two. In Malaysia, apart from McDonalds and KFC, spaghetti is probably the next most common thing for those who crave something western (whether American, Italian or French etc). Through the years since the inception of spaghetti, a lot has changed. From the type of spaghetti, sauces and even key ingredients used, the spaghetti bolognese we once know is starting to lose its name. However, fear not as more and more unique and interesting spaghetti are underway. Hence, here is the list to the best Spaghetti you can find in KL!

Jamaica Blue cafe is located at the North Atrium of Mid Valley and is one of the few cafes in the vicinity. They are famous for their signature Jamaica blend coffee and a more premium Wallenford blend. They both have their own unique characteristics, with the signature blend being more smooth and subtle while the Wallenford was slightly more pungent. Apart from their coffee, they too offer a good selection of pasta. The Smoked Salmon Spaghetti that we had was really good. It was light, appetising and most of its flavours and saltiness came from the smoked salmon and capers, which was really nice as it’s the star of the dish. Good flavour, well balanced and fresh!

Great place to relax but there will not be plug points for anyone who wishes to work or play there.

    Things to expect

Kiosk-type cafe around the atrium, just right next to the railing. Good coffee and food.
