Restoran New Hollywood is a standard Chinese coffee shop in the midst of a busy town in Ipoh. It also features a good amount of variety, ranging from wantan mee to curry mee, pan mee and char kway teow. Almost anything you desire, you might be able to find it here. The pan mee comes in two servings - one in soup and another in quite a handful of dark soy sauce. It is recommended to order an extra cup of iced tea if you're going for the dry version as it is slightly on the saltier side.

    Tips

Do try out the crispy beancurd and soft-boiled eggs.

Kafe Tim is famous for two things - their signature 'wiggly' pan mee noodles and popiah, both of which are absolutely delicious and well worth the effort. As for the pan mee, it comes in two variants - soup and dry. Quite standard, nothing to shout about there. However, the broth that comes with it is absolutely addictive. There must be some sort of drug placed in there as you will not stop slurping. Beautifully done and reasonably priced, Kafe Tim is definitely a place of visit for pan mee

    Tips

Arrive early to avoid the queue.

    Things to expect

A humble store offering amazing pan mee.
