Best Fried Chickens in KL

Written by Updated ago

Kids love it. Adults enjoy it as well. The “it” in question is none other than fried chicken; you can say it’s like a national comfort food among all walks of life in Malaysia. Not only can you easily find this delicious poultry in fast-food restaurant, you can also locate them in various stalls, cafes and restaurants as well. So what makes fried chicken such a crowd favorite? First of all, the sight of a fried chicken itself is mouth-watering enough to make you crave for one. Then there’s the sensational feeling of crackling sound upon every bite on the crispy skin, right before you indulge deeper into the tender white meat. Fried chicken may have been known for its greasiness and high-cholesterol level, but of course, moderation is the key when it comes to savouring this guilty-pleasure food.

This particular café is part of a humble joint-venture project between Dignity for Children (DFC) foundation, Berjaya Cares Foundation and The BIG Group. As you would have guessed, this café is primarily operated to support a good cause, which can be observed by the number of underprivileged young adults operating the place to hone their skills in the F&B industry. As for the café’s menu offering, Project B is known for its fried chicken varieties which come in three fusion flavours, starting with the buttermilk-coated “Signature Crunch”; the “Sweet & Sticky Korean Fried”; and the “Hot & Spicy Berempah”. You can opt for the combo menu such as “The Signature”, which comes with two pieces of chicken, fries, slaw and soft drink.
