Heun Kee is probably one of the many rare claypot chicken rice restaurants that has their own website! Founded and established by Madam Heun May Lan, Heun Kee has been around since 1985 (exactly 30 years ago!) and has been running stronger than ever! Heun Kee managed to sustain their quality because they use the highest grade of rice and the freshest chicken meat in the market. Heun Kee still abide by Madam Heun’s claypot chicken rice principle and that is the use of grilling charcoals. The aroma and fragrance of the claypot rice by using charcoals and fire is sworn to be really different by foodies and they’re right!

There are parking spaces behind their restaurant. You can place an earlier order if you want to take away.

    Things to expect

Do expect to wait about half an hour if you’re taking away your claypot rice because everything is cooked from scratch.

    Best with

    Boiled soups.
