Best Satays in KL

Written by Updated ago

Celup-celup bersama! Translated to English, it means, Let’s dip together! Satay or also originally and popularly known as sate, has been an iconic Malay dish that’s mainly comprised of just one ingredient; seasoned meat! Most satay meat is smothered with turmeric powder and grilled on charcoal until it’s fully cooked, some are burnt until the skin is dark and that’s where the smokey taste comes from! Impress your friends and family, especially the ones living abroad coming back for a holiday, to some of Kuala Lumpur’s best satay around!

Rankings of all participants as visible on our listings are solely voted by you, our beloved readers. With that said, we would encourage you to please vote for your preferred participants in order to ensure their rightful positions ranking-wise on our portal. Thank you!

Satay Zainah IsmailPork free d90bfb235d64e73ff14d8ad65b89aaab71a3af43962907cb9cd494af0a63fa21Alco free 9fb1f2c65edc2c1eaf4e8b24402d108dd33cc2bc71f0fb0022a54c3c390a66c8

Located at a regular one-storey house that’s made of aluminium and zinc panels, Satay Ismail provides the true authenticity of these sweet, succulent skewers. Satay Ismail offers only two types of meats; beef and chicken. However, chicken liver and beef tripe are also available for those who appreciate the insides of these meats. The satay are quite sweet in taste but if eaten together with the sweet and spicy peanut sauce, it has done its justice.
    Tips

If you’re taking the LRT, stop at Damai Station, look for a Petron gas station and turn right into the road beside it. Or just look for a house with a lot of smoke coming out of it.
