Sup Hameed
Clock ticks past midnight or looking to complement a rainy day? Make your way to Penang Road, where Sup Hameed has been drawing attention with their traditional “sup tulang” choices which are impeccable. Hailed as the cognoscenti of soups, from regular mutton, chicken and beef to flavours that are eye-openers such as beef tongue, quail, oxtail and tornado, everything are worth gobbling down. According to the locals, the mutton version usually tops the orders, where the broth is generously loaded with hunks of muttons, flavour wrapped bones and fall-off-the-bone meat. Pair it up with a slab of Bengali bread and lathered teh tarik, it’s a wonderful meal.
