Sate Ara Madura Saleha
Satay lovers, you’re going to be happy after reading this! Sate Ara Madura Saleha reportedly serves the best and most authentic pieces of Indonesian styled satay in the whole of PJ! Nothing fancy here, it’s a small shop by the road side with limited seats. Personally for the portions, they are very reasonably priced and if you like the sauces that give a spicy kick, Sate Ara Madura Saleha might be a challenge for those who have a love/hate relationship with small and deadly red chilis. Go on, dare yourself!More infoSate Ara Madura Saleha View restaurant

With the owner and chef who has personally stayed in Bali for more than 8 years just to study Balinese cuisine, how can the food not be superb? The Uma allows us to get up close and personal with authentic Balinese cuisine and boy, do they serve the best satay here. If you’re bored of the old and ordinary satay you have around you, how about giving the assam pork satay a try? I did type that out correctly and isn’t that just interesting? Juicily marinated and tender to the very end, this pork satay is stated in the menu that it comes without any type of sauce. It’s so juicy, sauce is not needed for this dish!More infoThe Uma View restaurant

The Waterlily Cafe
Similar to Bumbu Bali and Ole-Ole Bali, The Waterlily Cafe serves contemporary Balinese cuisines with a small selection of fusion and western cuisines too. The satay here is not made of meat, but a selection of fresh fish paste minced together onto a lemongrass stick. Not too salty or overly-marinated, the sate lilit here is worth trying.More infoThe Waterlily Cafe View restaurant
