"Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words can never hurt me." - Not exactly the right expression for this but hey, the most important thing is that these sticks are delicious. Grilled to juicy perfection, each stick of meat is well marinated and seasoned to perfection. At the end, gorging down more than 2 dozens of satay isn't a sin. Hence, here is a list of the best satays in Kuching.

Satay Ceko
Satay Ceko Cafe is one restaurant helmed at the corner of the shoplot, dedicated to making the best satay in town. Instead of the standard rack, they've gone for the extended version that is more than a meter long to keep up with the demand of their hot selling satay. It's fresh, it's hot and it's perfectly marinated - delicious! A dozen is never enough!

Green Hill Corner Hawker Center
Green Hill Corner is reasonably popular among the locals in Kuching. With so many items to choose from, you might feel a little confused or tempted to try all. However, if you're planning on having satay then you have nothing to worry about. The Mee Sapi with Satay is exceptionally delicious. The noodles are cooked till soft and submerged in a thick gravy followed by sticks of satay placed on top. Lovely!

Teochew Temple Pork Satay
Getting sick of the standard beef, chicken and lamb satay? Then why not try out Teochew Temple's pork satay located on Carpenter's Street? It's a lot juicer, a lot sweeter and it also has a nice char on the edge of the satay. The marinate used is both sweet and savoury, adding on more layers of flavour. You'll also be given a homemade peanut sauce on the side to kinda tone things down a little. Overall, it's one that you should definitely go for!
