Best Risotto in KL

Written by Updated ago

With only a handful of ingredients (Arborio or Carnaroli rice are commonly used here, along with broth of your choice, vegetables/seafood, fresh herbs and cheese), whipping up a risotto is supposed to be an easy dish to make at home. But beneath its deceiving simplicity, risotto requires a lot of patience and proper skill to make this right. The rice needs to be stirred constantly, or you’ll risk sticking at the bottom of the pot and burn. Like pasta, the key to a good risotto is al dente. Not too mushy or starchy. If homemade risotto sounds like a chore, you can always savour them at the Italian restaurant. Here’s where you can find them around KL.

The term risotto does carry a sense of luxury in many restaurants, where even the simplest of them all seem to be of favourites. But to gain a taste of fresh, authentic, and truly augmented risotto, this is the place you will want to be at. Staging the dish at an al dente texture, the rest is contributed by a cream laden sauce and an elevation with some seafood essence and crunchy asparaguses. This will definitely put you into an abbiocco state.
