Best Pavlovas in Johor Bahru (JB)

Back in the original state where it all started, Lavender's roots certainly remain strong and unshaken despite the blooming scene. The offerings at the bakery are extensive here, from caramel sticks and apple turnovers to Hungarian tuna buns and Matcha buns. The pavlovas here are sold in wholes, topped and sandwiched with lots of fruits and whipped cream. Absolutely delish!

The restaurant, as named, is clearly known for some ayam penyet but what you might or might not be surprised to find out is that the restaurant occasionally outsources some homemade pavlovas too! These sweeties are from Moon And Bake where you'll be able to contact them directly on Instagram. Pavlovas and nasi ayam penyet... Odd combination? Well, yeah, maybe but hey, you gotta admit it's pretty cool, huh?

A reliable Italian eatery in town, The Marco Polo Kitchen also serves an array of dessert temptations. Pizzas and pastas here have been crowd favourites so we definitely recommend them. The pavlova here is pretty legit, baked in individual ramekins instead of wholes. Topped with berries, the texture is light, airy and just melts in your mouth like it belongs there.

Located right above SIM Optometry, Bake N Frost is a quaint lil' cafe that serves fully halal Western cuisine, cakes and coffee. The cakes here are outstanding for both our tastebuds and eyes. Beautifully decorated, the pavlovas are topped with either fruits or other sweets such as shaved chocolate or cookie crumbs and whipped cream. Light, airy and 'fluffy', these dainty treats are definitely worth more than just an Instagram post.

If you've got a sweet tooth, Petals and Bakes will fit right into your cup of tea. There are some kitchen food available but the cafe thrives in its desserts. Berry pavlovas, macarons, waffles with churros and cheesecakes, you'll find yourself spoilt for choice with the variety of available sweets here. Since you're here, you're evidently looking out for pavlovas. Petal and Bakes' pavlova is topped with fresh fruits and icing sugar. The meringue is on the crumblier side but are delicious nonetheless.
