Mohd Yaseen Nasi Kandar
Mohd Yaseen Nasi Kandar is authentic penang-styled Nasi Kandar that gets our mouth watering. They consistently serve up dishes that are just great. The line is long but worth the visit to try their pomfret (bawa) which is a light curry. They serve some impressively well cooked cuttlefish curry and fish row. The curries here have been dish out deliciously for many years now and that’s why we just cant get enough.More infoMohd Yaseen Nasi Kandar View restaurant

Nasi Kandar Bestari
Nasi Kandar Bestari orginated from thee foodie central of Malaysia, Penang! This restaurant is located in a strategic location for office workers and will be crowded during lunch hours. Their creamy chicken kurma curry is heavenly joy on a rainy day. Their curries are sweeter than usual which gives it a good balance to that kick. They also serve well worth mentioning dishes like daging kicap and rendang daging for your liking.More infoNasi Kandar Bestari View restaurant

View in Google Maps Tg's Nasi Kandar
TG's Nasi Kandar has been voted as one of the best nasi kandar restaurants in KL. It has even appeared on local newspaper and is evident by the amount of customers. The only issue is, the restaurant is fairly small, so it might be a little tight. However, all will be alright when you have a taste of what they have to offer. Deliciously cooked dishes spread across multiple lines, with each one of them tempting you to go after it. From fried chicken to sambal fish, stir-fried vegetables to curry, there's just so much to have here.

Original Kayu Nasi Kandar
They have their own channels on their tv’s, their own tissues and aprons. It’s no other than the original kayu nasi kandar. Forget the history of what made them who they are now. What is important is their food and their food is still amazing. They serve thick curry, spicy sambal, perfectly fried chicken and a lot more sides. This place is worth the visit anyday!More infoOriginal Kayu Nasi Kandar @ Sri Permaisuri View restaurant

Restaurant Kampung Pandan
Kampung Pandan at Lorong Yap Kwan Seng is famous for having a thick curry. Their signature yellow chairs will remind you that you are back once again to this cozy restaurant and that you might just go up a pants size. They serve one of the better fish heads around this part of town and taste great with their curry filled nasi kandar. Pick some fish roe and chicken liver and you’ll get an experience Kampung Pandan will be proud of!More infoRestoran Kampong Pandan View restaurant

Restaurant Lotus Nasi Kandar Penang
Lotus is well known in KL to deliver quality indian food. Their system of ordering can be confusing (some self service, some order at the table) but their food is well worth the time. They are famous for their deep fried food but what makes this restaurant what it is, is their nasi kandar with thick flavorful curries, crunchy fried meat, and tender braised mutton. You’ll be surprised how colorful their food is!More infoRestaurant Lotus Nasi Kandar Penang View restaurant

Line Clear Nasi Kandar
Hailing from Penang, Line Clear Nasi Kandar has finally opened up a branch here in KL. Located in Kampung Baru, this insanely long-queued-restaurant has been the spotlight of nasi kandar in Penang for many years, even until today. An estimate waiting time of 45minutes to an hour is required unless you arrive early. Fortunately, it's not happening here, but there's still quite a crowd. A huge variety of dishes to choose from, with the fried chicken and sambal sotong being some of the more popular picks. Don't forget to flood them in curry!

Restoran Al-bakarth
Once a haven for shisha, Restoran Al-bakarth does surprisingly well in the nasi kandar section. They may not have the widest array of dishes on display, nor do they have the most stunning looking ones. However, what they offer is a solid tasting, delicious and worthy of recommendation set of dishes. It goes great with rice as well as a spoonful of curry. In short, they may not excel in nasi kandar, but it's sufficient to satisfy your cravings.
