The mee rebus to try out here would be the mee rebus sotong. Tender and spicy sotong are the main attraction of this dish with the usual hard-boiled egg (halved), tofu cubes, potato cubes, bean sprouts, fried shallots and sliced green chilli. The gravy is thick and flavorsome with a tinge of curry flavor that would leave you craving for a second bowl.

Their mee rebus daging is one of the mee rebus that you absolutely have to try. This is primarily due to its rich and aromatic broth which is made from beef stock and fat which are well infused with spices. This is of course teamed up with yellow noodles, a hard-boiled egg, crunchy bean sprouts, green chilli slices and aromatic fried shallots. The proprietors of this stall who hail from Singapore have definitely perfected this dish having had the experience of selling mouth watering mee rebus for more than 30 years.
    Tips

Squeeze some lime juice to help cut through the rich and beefy flavour of the gravy.

    Things to expect

Slightly strong flavor, beware to those who don’t really enjoy beef.

Do try out their mee rebus rojak. The noodles has a very natural taste slathered in gravy that is relatively thick, with a slightly rough texture from the boiled potatoes and grounded peanuts. The gravy is also not too spicy and has a slightly sweet taste to it. Do add a dash of soy sauce for some extra oomph. Simple, yet so satisfyingly good!
    Tips

Do try out their mee rebus sotong (with squid) too!

While this cafe offers quite a number of dishes for their buffet spread, do check out their noodle station that is bound to mesmerise you with tantalising local cuisines. A must-try would be their Sungai Dua Utara Mee Rebus. The gravy here is what brings the whole dish together well. The gravy is thick and flavourful with shrimp paste as well as boiled sweet potatoes, giving it a distinct and unique taste. Definitely the place where you can satisfy your cravings with some northern flair to it.
