Lemon Garden Cafe
If you’re looking for a vast international selection of buffet range complete with Japanese sashimi and Italian pizza, then this is the place to head to. Lemon Garden Café has garnered a very reputable status in Kuala Lumpur for serving some of the best buffet for the past 10 years. Even the ice cream selection seem to be endless but of course, there has always got to be a niche area for a buffet and Lemon Garden’s is its seafood buffet on Saturdays and Thursdays. It is refreshing to be served fresh seafood instead of just supermarket crabs and oysters. But not forgetting, their desserts bar, which is equally wonderful, serving their homemade ice cream and (gasp!) a chocolate and a white chocolate fountain. Do you really need more reason to not go here?

Certified
halalRebung offers authentic Malay cuisine in its buffet, so no sort of thing like ham or cute little croissants here. Instead you will get to have some fiery asam pedas and nasi kerabu. Co-owned by renowned chef, Chef Ismail and Malaysia’s first astronaut, Datuk Dr Sheikh Muszaphar, Rebung was bound to be a sure-fire hit when it first opened. Years onward, the restaurant is still flourishing and blooming in its own, collecting a pool of new fans in Bangsar and out of it alike. The main buffet line will always be the obligatory white rice and nasi hujan panas, followed by the compulsory pucuk paku and crispy, freshly made beans. Of course, since Chef Ismail hails from good ‘ol Rembau, masak lemak is a definite must-try in the list. The side dishes were as equally enticing. But if you’re feeling full from your previous meal, then there’s always the rojak buah, sago gula Melaka and banana fritters to keep your mouth busy. Otherwise, make sure your stomach is empty before coming here. The buffet here can be described as traditional, fresh and very homely. There was a table of Nogori people when I went there before, so if they love it, what’s the possibility that you won’t love it?

The Ganga Cafe
The Ganga Cafe is a humble cafe that offers authentic Indian cuisine at an incredibly affordable price. Some of their signature dishes includes the Chana Bhatura (a form of chapati), Aloo Tikki (potato cake), Pav Bhaji Set (burger), and Ayurvedic Chapati. More importantly, the buffet is only available every Sunday during lunch, where plenty of what they have on their a la carte menu will be available. Oh, it's also really cheap costing only RM19.90 per pax. So remember to come hungry and swoop as much as you can! Lovely food at an affordable price, because why not?
