Munching Mob is a casual and modern looking cafe located in Bukit Jalil. Amongst many things, their fish and chips is really worth going for. Crispy and light batter encasing a flaky and tender slab of fish, served with a side of french fries, salad and tartare sauce. It's simple, hearty and straight-forwarded.

The Magnificent Fish & Chips Bar certainly looks magnificent as it looks like a regular bar. With chalkboard menus, you have to go up to the menu and order what you would want from there. If you order their signature, fish and chips, there are many types of fish available – from butterfish to silver cod. The fish and chips comes in a parchment paper to soak up all unnecessary oil, which also functioned to separate the fish and newspaper base. The golden fried fish flaked piece by piece the moment the knife cuts through, indicating how fresh the fish is. Located near the outdoor KLCC fountain area, Ben’s brought London’s iconic dish to justice – traditional cooked fish and chips. Sink your teeth onto Ben’s golden batter surrounding the freshly cooked fish, and feast yourself with chips, coleslaw and homemade tartare sauce. Merchant's Lane
It's not everyday that we get salmon in fish & chips and no doubt, this will not be the last. Despite being plump and flaky, the batter was a little too thick for our liking. No doubt it had flavour, both the batter and the salmon itself, but we preferred if the batter was slightly thinner. Having said that, the fish and chips by Merchant's Lane was pretty good. Served with a delicious side salad and two generous hashbrowns.More info
