Looking at Cookie.my’s Instagram reminds me of those gorgeous artsy photos of food on Tumblr where pastel colours run wild & free. That’s what came to my mind when I saw the sugar cookies looking as pretty as a picture. Cookie.my’s owner, Valene, runs this business on weekends while juggling her permanent office job as a Sales Manager, which goes to show that you can work while still doing what you love on the sidelines. For everyone’s information, Cookie.my’s special sugar cookies are all handmade & she customises them according to customers’ orders and the celebrated occasions. Wedding-themed sugar cookies are the most popular ones coming out of Cookie.my’s oven now & I can’t blame newlyweds for ordering them. Even the icing is as yummy as it looks, without ending up being too hard for your teeth to bite. Valene puts a LOT of effort in ensuring the designs look as neat & detailed as possible and it shows in the end products. I personally adore the ones with the bridal gown. FYI, Cookie.my also comes up with cookies for other themes such as make-up shaped ones, cartoon-based and baby showers!More info

California Cookie Company
Previously, we have listed California Cookie Company for having one of the best online cakes in KL for their carrot cake & here they are again for a different list. This time, it’s the cookies that takes the cake (oops! Pun intended), specifically their M&M cookies aptly named, The Castro. Oh my gee, we have never seen a more perfectly crafted cookie than The Castro. The M&Ms are placed so neatly next to each other on the cookie, creating a bed of colours on the golden brown cookie. And the shape! Let’s not even go there, we can pen words after words after words of how perfect California Cookie’s The Castro is & it will probably take more than a day. But for now, you have to have these or do not claim yourself a foodie.More info

Cloud Cookies KL
We have always had this affinity for innovative food that contain our favourite snacks, for example, Fried Mars Bars. So we were rubbing our hands in glee when we heard that Cloud Cookies sells Kit Kat Cookies. I mean, seriously, this is the first time we heard of that. Genius. And what more can we say? Anything tastes delicious with Kit Kat in them! If photos of toddlers wiping the cookie jars clean should be incentive enough for you to start ordering them nowwww.More info

This online business mostly revolves around its homemade cookies baked with love and (gasp) no egg! Say whattttt? A healthy, vegan cookie you mean?! Yeap, we are not joking & meant every word you said. The chocolate crunch cookie is what its name comes across as: crunchy. Despite using an eggless recipe, it still retains the crunchiness and is guaranteed to give you that good old warm gushy feeling in your tummy. VT Cakes & Cookies
Based in Batu Caves, VT has received thousands of likes on their Facebook & generally very favourable reviews by happy customers. So there must be something about their cookies right? Sure, they’re not as intricately designed masterpieces but it tastes scrumptious & all the things you should expect from a home kitchen: low-key, fuss-free & non-pretentious. I would personally recommend their Hazelnut Cookies because they’re hard to come by now unless you can bake them on your own. It’s still a growing business but seems like they have potential.
