    This particular stall at Kee Kim Huat is famous for its claypot chicken rice using traditional charcoal fire. The rice is fluffy and aromatic, while the combination of marinated chicken chunks and lap cheong amps up the overall flavour of the dish. What makes it even better is the bottom part of the claypot - the slightly charred rice bits are particularly worth scraping for!

    Ask for more salted fish to add into your claypot chicken rice.

    Originated from Bercham, Ipoh, the claypot chicken rice is traditionally cooked using charcoal fire. The steamed rice is well mixed with soy sauce, marinated chicken cubes and chopped spring onions. The waxed Chinese sausages and salted fish fillets complete this delicious piping-hot dish wiith an oomph! 

    Tips

    There’s a halal version of located in a food court at Danga Bay.

    As charcoal-fire cooking method is used, you'll need to wait at least 20 minutes.

    Braised Chicken Feet and Claypot Loh Shu Fun.

    This outdoor food court offers a mix of local and international cuisines, and one of the must-try dishes here is the claypot chicken rice! Served hot upon order, the rice is moist and flavourful when mix together with the dark soy sauce. The chicken chunks are equally succulent, while the waxed Chinese sausage adds an extra dose of oomph to the dish.
