Nook at Aloft KL is among the few hotels in KL that is beginning to offer something out of the ordinary. Gone are the days where standard beef are used as Nook has swapped it out with Wagyu instead. Of course, this is only available on the ala-carte menu but that is to show how much effort they are putting in their food. Similarly, you can expect a decent amount of variety, alongside flavours that are explosive and outright delicious. Quite frankly, nothing at Warisan Cafe by The Royale Chulan Hotel truly stands out from the rest. However, the majority of the dishes are done quite nicely. Sure, they don't have that explosive flavour which you might seek, but with a consistent line up of buffet, they sure draw a lot of regulars. The other great thing about this place would be the ambience as it's relatively quiet with a good Malaysian vibe. In conclusion, if you're looking for a simple place to dine and chill, Warisan Cafe at The Royale Chulan Hotel might just be the place to be.

Sukiya is a place where you wish to indulge yourself in meat, and lots and lots of meat. Just meat, nothing else. It's widely popular in Malaysia with several outlets spread across Klang Valley, all of which are in a shopping mall. There are 4 different flavours of broth and 3 types of meat - chicken, beef and lamb. They're sliced really thin so you can just gobble up plates after plates without feeling bad about yourself. Essence by Sheraton Imperial Hotel is certainly a delight, where the design and ambience of the restaurant truly are inviting as well as cosy. On top of that, servers with a bright attitude will greet you by the entrance, and walk you through the colourful array of food available, all the way to your seats. Unfortunately, they won't actually take the food for you but hey, it's a great experience if you were to walk about it yourself. From fresh appetisers to flavourful mains and a sweet finish, everything is done quite nicely.
