Ayam Penyet RiaCertified
halalThe Ayam Penyet is a must for food lovers who want to satisfy their craving. The signature Ayam Penyet dish were specially marinated with various spice and herbs. Which give a certain special flavour. Costing a mere RM10, the Ayam Penyet comes with a platter of spicy sambal, deep fried tofu, deep fried tempe and a seperate plate of rice. Fried chicken is extremely tasty with crispy batter, sure you will be addicted. Aside from that, I'd also recommend other version of Empal Penyet and Lele Penyet.

Warung Pojok
Probably cost wise this is the cheapest ayam penyet on this list but with equally satisfying quality, Warung Pojok may not be a five-star restaurant at first glance but they sure cook like one. Warung Pojok is a small and humble outlet tucked in one of the random corners in Bandar Sunway. Taylor’s College students are frequent customers here due to the place’s affordable price, (as low as RM 4.50 for the ayam penyet & RM6.50 for a complete set of chicken, rice & drink!) If you’re looking a plate of wholesome Nusantara flavour, do give this stall a visit.More infoWarung Pojok View restaurant

Ayam Penyet ExpressCertified
halalThis chain restaurant has always been full, and we were lucky to be able to get a seat on the weekend. Gotta agree that the chicken were fried so succulently that using cutleries to eat with was not a problem at all. However, just like every ayam penyet dish, be careful of the spiciness level of the dish served here. It may be too hot to handle for some of us.Perhaps you can ask for a tone down in terms of its spiciness level.More infoAyam Penyet Express View restaurant

Warung Leko
This outlet has been a crowd favourite in The Curve, even garnering the award for Sales Achievement Award in 2014. That’s how popular this place is & if yoAyamPenyet Lekou have not tried the ayam penyet here, you should. Now. They only use ayam kampung (minus the toughness) & though the chicken may not be in large pieces but they’re chunks of flavourful meat which makes up for its lack in size. The skin is fried to a golden exterior & so crunchy. The ayam penyet here ticks all the right boxes: spicy, filling & worth the money. So, a plate of smashing chicken, anyone?More infoWarung Leko View restaurant
