Asam Pedas is a Minangkabau and Malay dish that is commonly found in Malaysian and Indonesia. Though it's rather watery, it's still considered as a stew. It's also bright red in colour, though it can sometimes be a little bit more maroon, is packed with a selection of fishes; tenggiri, pari or kembung. Lady's finger, tomatoes and several other vegetables too are put together to create this luscious dish that goes really well with rice. Not only is it flavourful, it's healthy as well!
