Carmen and Edmund, a husband and wife team with nearly a decade of expertise in the wedding and event sector, co-founded Sugirl Desserts in June 2020. As the saying goes, turn your passion into a career and you'll never feel like you're working again, right? That's precisely what they did.
Both partners wanted to bridge the gap in the sweet soup based desserts in the market where they could add a modern twist to the desserts that best suits the Malaysian taste buds. That was how they started Sugirl Desserts from scratch by incorporating all the local favourite recipes around the world into their creations using fresh local ingredients whilst ensuring their creations are delicious, healthy, affordable and brings warmth to people from all walks of life.
