Wantan Mee is a delicious serving of noodles in either dry or soup form. The dry variant uses a dark soy base while the soup traditionally comes with chicken or pork broth. However, things are a little different in Penang as stalls here offers a new variant - white or colourless dry. It somehow is much milder as compared to the dark soy sauce base but certainly has more depth. Regardless of which, we understand that you will enjoy the list of best wantan mee in Penang that we've compiled.

This place has probably garnished enough fame through The Star newspaper for being one of the oldest, if not cheapest wantan mee in Penang. He is also famous for retaining the price of his wantan at RM0.50 each for several consecutive years even though there was a fuel and vegetables price hike. As for the wantan mee, you can expect the same amount of generosity in terms of flavour and portion.More info
