Best Wantan Mee in Ipoh

Written by Updated ago

Be it served in a dark soy sauce base or chicken broth, a good plate of wantan mee is always well sought after for breakfast and occasionally, supper. Laying in all the sauce and broth should be a good selection of noodles, although they can be conventional but a handmade one is always preferred. Mixed thoroughly and enjoy, slurping through without the consent of your neighbouring table and making sure it's as loud as possible. That would be epic wouldn't it?

Restoran Comeson is probably one of the most popular place to have wantan mee here at Ipoh. They are also one of the only ones that offer pork ribs wantan mee, apart from the regular char siew and dumplings. Cooked overnight in a pot of delicious gravy, the pork ribs are incredibly tender and flavourful. The noodles are also done beautifully as it's neither too soggy nor dense.
