Pho Viet is located along the Beach Street in a post war building. It is quite noticeable due to its red shop sign and oriental lanterns decorations. Founded in 2016, Pho Viet serves authentic Vietnamese cuisine and only uses healthy and fresh ingredients fr their dishes. They also strongly adhere to their no MSG and artificial preservatives policy to ensure their dishes are clean and healthy! Despite pho and banhmi being the most signature dish, they also serve Vietnamese style home cooked dishes. This restaurant's size is small due to its location but their interior feels very cozy. However, Pho Viet's price point is on the medium high range compared to the other Vietnamese restaurants in Penang but their food's quality is definitely on par to their price.

    An Viet

An Viet is already a pretty well established Vietnamese restaurant joint in Klang Valley. Recently they expanded their franchise to Penang at Gurney Plaza. Their name 'Ăn Viet' literally means 'Eat Viet' in Vietnamese and they strongly follow their 'food-losophy' of using quality ingredients to produce authentic dishes from scratch. The restaurant's interior looks modern with lighting that compliments the little bit of wood, green and blue. An Viet's signature dish definitely also goes to their pho in which the beef balls in them are made from 100% fresh beef meat. If you had the chance, don't pho-get to try out their deep friend sticky rice ball which is made with lots of work and deep fried at a perfect timing! Most importantly, the glutinous rice ball only has limited quantity so, good luck!

Established in a semi-detached house, Indochine Cafe's atmosphere is very homey with a hint of elegance. There are yellow traditional Vietnamese lanterns hanging on the ceiling that makes it a perfect photo taking spot! The interior of the restaurant is overall harmonious with the mix of clean white walls, yellow toned lighting and wooden & black furniture.
