XQ Thai Kitchen
As indicated by its name, XQ Thai Kitchen is a connoisseur of Thai dishes and has been around for approximately three years in town. Just to name a few, their assorted menu consists of appetizers such as “Som Tam Pu Para”, a thin shredded green papaya salad and featured main courses such as “Belacan or Shrimp Paste Fried Rice”. The fried rice is certainly flavourful, given the combination of crispy dry shrimp toppings with sweet chicken, long beans and mango slices as the side dishes. If the pungent smell of shrimp paste is not to your liking, try the “Green Curry Chicken” with a portion of white rice instead. Exclusive food such as pork leg is available based on reservation too.

Kings & I Restaurant
Kings & I Restaurant was established in 2008 and received one of their first awards by Ministry of Tourism Malaysia, as the “best innovative restaurant” and “best oriental restaurant” at the same particular year. It is vaguely off town but worth the visit considering an impressive menu list offering Thai cuisines of up to 27 pages! Picante dish such as the famous spicy and sour “Tom Yam Goong” cooked with herbs and large freshwater prawn is stellar and very recommended for spicy food lovers. Meanwhile, “Nue Tunn” is a tasty traditional broth with lavish amount of beef ball and slices with some vegetables. There are just too many mouth-watering food here to be savoured especially their appetizers and desserts. They too organize live performances during dinner hours on Fridays and Saturdays for their patrons.

It is adequately laced with shrimp paste, and is surrounded with a lovely range of nibbles including sweet pork and ribboned omelette, fresh garnishings such as chopped fresh shallot, long beans, red ”cili padi” and julienned green mango, and a final topping of fried dried shrimps.
