Best Rojak in PJ

Food is a significant part of our culture and heritage. We, Malaysians are often fond of food and takes them really seriously. As for today, we would like to explore one of Penang’s famous dish – ROJAK! Rojak Pasembur/Rojak Mamak is usually made up of the essential ingredients such as floury cake, sliced cucumber, hard boiled egg, fried tofu, bean sprout and fried crackers. Not forgetting, the existence of Fruit Rojak that comprises of mango, papaya, pineapple, cucumber and turnip. The ONE thing that make or break any good plate of Rojak would be the SAUCE and how it is being done. Typically set up in a mobile van found on the streets, come with us on a hop on hop off journey to discover some of the best ones in town!

    Mild spicy, not too sweet yet rich in nutty texture? A-must try is this Indian Rojak located opposite the Taman Bahagia LRT station. This rojak stall has been running for three generations now and is operating by a mobile van that can be found beside the neighbourhood playground, park by at one of the lanes. The ingredients are fresh, sauce is just right and comes with plenty of fried dough fritters and prawn fritters. Add extra sambal sotong for more spicy-ness.
    Tips

    If you like the wind and breeze, easy to find parking, this is the place!

    Lush green settings of flora & flauna, wooden tables & plastic chairs, extremely affordable cendol to quench thirst.
