    As you ride down the serene Gurney Drive road, you’ll see plenty of hipster bistros and cafes. Slow down and you’ll spot a quaint and bouncy house called Crepe Cottage. Below the blue board, you see a quote – the ultimate pancake and ice cream parlour, and it fits well for the family-run shop. Patrons just keep coming over and over again for their widespread combinations of ice creams, fresh fruits and crepes. Crepes are usually crispier and flat, unlike regular pancakes that have raising agent in it. However, their original pancake is wondrous, you’ll be drooling as soon as it’s served. A Generous spread of strawberries is ladled between stacks of fluffy hot pancakes, crowned with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and showered with rich chocolate syrup. As the ice cream cascades down, grab a huge mouthful for a perfect marriage of sweet, sour and creamy punch.

    Pit Stop No.12 Cafe

    The next pit stop is only five minutes away from Plates Restaurant and is highly regarded for their satisfying pancakes. The moment you walk in, you will be spending a few minutes ambling around the café. Retro style interiors, chalkboards with quotes and quirky adornments make it exceptional from other cafes. The show-stopper is their Berry Banana Pancake - pancakes topped with slices of banana, a dollop of strawberry jam, roasted cashews, a scoop of vanilla ice cream, maple syrup and Nutella chocolate spread. Gosh, that’s heaven on a plate! To add joy, its all-day-breakfast. Their pastas are worth mentioning too. Pit Stop is truly a miniscule café that melts your heart and palate from the very first bite!
