Best Paellas in Johor Bahru (JB)

Written by Updated ago

Even though Western food has been increasingly popular in Malaysia, most of the dishes lack an ingredient we Asians favor, and that is rice. This does not apply to paella, with their main base being rice cooked to a slightly fluffy and crispy texture. It is the perfect Spanish cuisine for us Asians! Let us tickle your taste buds with the best paellas in Johor Bahru!

Sweetwater offers a large diversity of cuisines. One of the choices they offer is Spanish food, and nothing screams Spanish food like good pan of paella. Mussels, calamari, prawns, chicken cubes, peas, and rice, all mixed together, forms a delicious pan of Spanish seafood pasta, which is available here in Sweetwater. The owner of this restaurant also takes the responsibility of the executive chef, ensuring the quality of the food constantly remains top-notch!

Within this rustic restaurant, one of the chef recommended dishes is their MP Seafood Paella. Unlike other paellas, they use risotto rice, an Italian short-grain rice that is starchy to help build the creaminess desired in the dish. Mixed with their prawn, squid, and mussels, this dish would just melt with goodness in your mouth! Even though they are an Italian restaurant, they certainly do this dish justice!
