Indomie is one of the most popular instant noodles besides Maggi that is available in every other mamak nationwide. Like every instant noodle around, they can be made really good, or really bad. It's quite surprising that anyone can mess up instant noodles but hey, everyone makes mistakes. Indomie on the other hand, is pretty much idiot-proof. The noodles are a lot firmer than other instant noodles, and the flavour itself is really addictive. More importantly, however, is the addition of the fried egg that binds everything together.

If you are looking for a place that offers a wide variety of local mamak cuisine made pretty, then Teh Tarik Place might just be the place for you. They have roti canai, teh tarik, mee goreng mamak and many others, including the Indomie. Though it's not exactly popular, the Indomie here is pretty good as well. It's made a little more wet and moist in comparison to most, but it does deliver in terms of flavour. It's not as bouncy but the noodles do have a good consistency. Served with a fried egg, Teh Tarik Place's Indomie is certainly well worth the try.More info

Restoran Mosin might be a little small in comparison to most mamak, but they're really popular for their amazing range of innovative naan breads. Having said that, that's not all that they're good as the Indomie Goreng here is pretty decent. Not only are they cooked beautifully, the eggs are incorporated into the noodles instead of having them on the side. This helps develop a new sense of taste and texture that many Malaysians would definitely enjoy. Oh, don't forget to squeeze that lime in, it does make a difference!More info
