Hakka Mee, or some may call it Hakka Pork Noodles. There are many variations to the name and it could be confusing to some. Having said that, it's quite simple to identify Hakka Mee. First, the noodles has to be wiggly and bouncy. Soup will be served on the side and only fish sauce and several condiments will be used as a broth for the noodles. Though this may vary from places to places, the core principal is of such. In any case, Hakka Noodles are really delicious and if done correctly, can leave you drooling for more. So without further ado, here are some of the best Hakka Mee in PJ!

Toast & Roast
Toast & Roast has been the go-to place for roasted pork and siew yuk, especially around the SS2 area. This place may look like a cafe from far, but inside, it's pretty much a coffee shop made pretty. Plastic tables and chairs, delicious selection of roasted goodies, that's about it - nothing fancy or overdone decor. As for the hakka noodle, you can expect a great deal flavour and texture. Topped with well marinated pork minced, crispy pork lard and chopped spring onion, the dish is delightful till the last bite.

Restoran Sin Loong
Unlike many others, the hakka noodles here at Restoran Sin Loong aren't as 'twirly', and it's a lot more straighter than it's supposed to be. It also comes in two options, wet or dry, both of which are pretty good in its own way. Noodles are cooked to perfection, and the sauce used for the dry variant is quite good as well. As for the soup version, it's a lot like kuey teow soup, just with a firmer and more wrinkly noodle. All and all, it may not be the most authentic, but hey, it's a pretty good bowl of noodles.
