This bakery is famous for the salted egg croissant but rest assured, its version of Portuguese tarts is also worth noting, and it’s called German egg cheese tart. What makes these egg tarts stand out from the others is that the crust is mixed with parmesan cheese to deliver a crispier shell to encase the custard. The filling is a mixture of mild cream cheese and eggs custard resulting in wobbly, pudding-like texture. The top is coated with caramel so this is the perfect choice if you like your egg tarts to be on the sweeter side.
