Although this is a place for their signature Bitter Gourd Noodles, their deluxe curry laksa is actually not that bad. First and foremost, the broth is well packed with flavours, especially from the vast array of seafood and pork used. It's cream, rich and slightly spicy - which is nice as you can still taste the flavours of other components. It is then topped with char siew, siew yoke, whole baby octopus, beancurd, fish balls, pork skin, and curry chicken! If that's not a treat, we don't know what is.

I know that you’re wondering what good can come of curry mee found in a shopping mall, but Oriental Cravings is a definite game changer. This secluded Chinese restaurant serves their nyonya style curry mee with roast pork; anointing the devilish curry soup with a hint of porkiness and a crunch from the crispy skin. This place proves that quality street food can be found in the unlikeliest of (non-street) places.

Located in the heart of SS2, this food court is a neighbourhood favourite, well-known for serving up some of the best hawker-style food. Worthy of mention is the relatively new curry mee stall at stall no. 42, which is distinguished for its mild yet fragrant Penang White Curry Mee. Generous portions of prawns, squid, cockles and coagulated pig blood cubes float about in this luscious yellow broth until you mix in the dollop of sambal to turn it into a burning hot sea of red.

Noodles that made out along with curry is common, but the Curry Laksa Chicken Noodle that is served in Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee is generous enough in portion. There are several Chicken meats, Tofu Pok, Beancurd skin served together along with the Curry Laksa. The curry flavor is not too spicy while the coconut flavor in the curry tastes nice as well. Not a bad choice to give it a try.
