Many Malaccans would undoubtedly recommend Calanthe Art Cafe as a must-visit whenever you're in Malacca. Clearly a pioneer in the scene, Calanthe has collected a large clientele over the years and thus, it is not any surprise that the cafe is rarely unoccupied. Besides the classic brownie served with bananas and ice cream, you'll find local brownie here which is basically our very own kuih batik.

Located at the ground floor of Truly Signature, TrulyTwo Cafe is not one for the weakhearted. A dessert haven, the cafe offers a variety of desserts that will ultimately throw all your diet plans out of the window. The bestsellers here are all rich, decadent and sinful... But if you don't mind that, be sure to grab the signature sizzling brownie and top it off with a Magnum of your choice (or plain ice cream)!

The cafe adapted its name from its heritage location next to the Melaka river. Situated in a pre-war building, there's a lot of history surrounding the cafe itself. The interior of the cafe is retro and old school but comfortable and homely. The Walnut Brownie here is simple yet delicious. Make sure to get a bit of ice cream with every bite of the brownie for maximum gastronomic satisfaction!

Halia Inc. is situated right beside the Melaka River and therefore, you'll find yourself dining with a spectacular view. The 'Very Fudgy Chocolate Brownie' is indeed fudgy, moist and chocolaty. Paired with ice cream, this dessert will satisfy any sweet tooth. Considering the great location and beautiful ambience, prices fare well!

The interior of The Daily Fix Cafe is unique and has got to be one of the prettiest cafe in Melaka. Decorated with wooden and rattan furniture, rustic walls and lots of greenery, the ambience is lovely by resembling nature's wear and tear. The brownie topped with rich dark chocolate sauce and ice cream is an evident crowd favourite here so be sure to grab it if you visit the cafe!

The a la carte menu items here is made up of a variety of cuisines ranging from Italian to local dishes, sufficient for multiple visits!  If you need a good recommendation for dessert, the Homemade Chocolate Steam Brownies is able to please your sweet tooth cravings. Tucked away at the corner of an alley is where you can find K Talk Cafe. This place serves great coffee, late brunches, tea time snacks and sweet desserts. If you are up for dessert, a good suggestion would be the Special Brownies here. In comparison to other coffee joints, you get to decide on how do you want your brownies to be served, either hot or cold, while the former is more favourable. This walnut-cake dessert comes with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, bite-sized pretzel snacks, and drizzled with chocolate syrup, powdered sugar, chopped nuts and cookie crumbs - definitely recommended for those who love nuts!
