Restoran Vazhai Elai is easily spotted, for being the one and only mamak found along Jalan Munshi Abdullah. Labelling themselves as a “Banana Leaf Restaurant”, it is an economical place when it comes to banana leaf rice with extremely tasty side dishes. You will be dumbfounded by the the selection of dishes that they offer, despite being a small restaurant.

Saravanna Restaurant
While the streets of Little India in Melaka may not as charming as Jonker Walk, regardless, Saravanna Restaurant has never failed to impress the locals and visitors with a promising robust meal. In relation to that, they are also praiseworthy when it comes to their banana leaf rice. The portions here are rather generous. Additionally, they have a la carte dishes and sweet desserts for you to end your meal.
