Goon Wah restaurant may have been notoriously popular for their XO Fish Head noodle, but today, they have expanded their menu to create many new interesting recipes, most of which have been incorporated with the idea of cooking in a claypot. Case in point are their Guinness Stout Chicken Wings and Braised Pork Belly with Yam. Despite not giving much importance for presentation, the portions are pretty generous. This restaurant is pretty small, hence the additional ‘alfresco’ dining at the 5-foot-walkway, but overall you’ll enjoy its good food in this decent dining place.

The food quality presented by Kingdom Palace Restaurant had never disappointed you.Sauteed baby spinach with soy bean dregs - you will wonder how they managed to make the dregs crispy reminiscing dried shrimp texture but it is oh-so-good to go with the vegetable. Fisherman's fried rice - a favourite of the small ones where they serve the fried rice in a huge bamboo basket covered with aluminium foil with the fresh prawns on top. The rice has the fragrant from the butter and garlic.
