Sri Ganapathi Mess @ Puchong Petaling Jaya

Sri Ganapathi Mess is a small, cramped restaurant that is actually established in a one-storey corner house. And with such a small area, the kitchen where all the cooking is done has to be outside of the house. And when you first arrive at Sri Ganapathi Mess, you will be immediately hit with all sorts of aromas from the curries and vegetables that are being cooked. Entering the building, there isn't really much to talk about other than it looks plain and very, very cramped. Even when there are not much people visiting the place on any day.

As far as food goes, it appears that Sri Ganapathi Mess primarily serves banana leaf rice, and nothing else. And that's not necessarily a bad thing. With one dish to only worry about, they can make more within a short amount of time and constantly tasting better and better with every item delivered.

The curries, on the other hand, are as equally amazing as well. Choosing between mutton or fish curry, you can feel the powerful aroma of the spices and the instant burn from the spiciness of the gravy. And on the vegetable corner of things, they are tender, albeit a little cold, and helps cleanse your palate from the burning sensation on the tip of your tongue.
