Located right smack in the middle of town, Restorn Win Heng Seng provides a much needed reprieve from the hustling and bustling of urban life for many locals -and foreigners; going about their business in the immediate area.

Frankly speaking, the place is rather popular among the locals and for good reason. Sporting a myriad of local delicacies that are both scrumptious and flavorful, Win Heng Seng exists as a real crowd-pleaser. Reasonable pricing is another reason why this place is so darn popular with the locals as well because let's face it, in the middle of the urban jungle, everything is cutthroat expensive.

Food wise, stalls at Win Heng Seng offers a selection of food, ranging from pork noodles, to Char Kuey Teow, Hokkien mee, nasi lemak, Sarawak Kolo mee and even pastries such as roasted pork buns and fragrant egg-tarts. But in general, the place is famous for its pork noodles.

With a choice between dry-based and soup-based, the pork noodles -with noodle variety ranging from kuey teow to bee hoon to mee; are armed with home-made fishballs, Chinese sausage slices and a whole lot of minced pork meat to assault your palatal senses. Between the dry version and the soup version, the locals are more inclined toward the dry one as it is less commonly found, hence the novelty is higher plus the taste is rather exquisite.

The Char Kuey Teow here is also rather impressive. Despite being slighter moist in comparison to its drier Penang counterpart, the Char Kuey Teow in Imbi delivers quite a punch as well in terms of taste. Using a wider version of the kuey teow family, fried along with eggs, prawns and beansprouts, its smooth texture and savoury flavor allows for a better gourmet experience. But if both pork noodles and Char Kuey Teow are not on your list of 'die-die-must-try', you can always opt for other alternative available there.

It's all in all, Win Heng Seng comes along as a rahter  good place to eat, if you are out for food in the immediate area.
