Western cuisine. What do you usually think about when this two words pop up? Because western cuisine is not a regular main meal for many here in Malaysia, I can say for myself that western cuisine is more like a celebratory cuisine – birthdays, anniversary, date, or in other words, special occasions. Enough of that, so, what makes western cuisine, well, a western cuisine? Fresh cuts of meat, high quality ingredients, juicy and tender steaks, in other words, it is endless. 

Friendly conversations, family bonding time also adds up to the experience. Located on the fifth floor of the critically acclaimed business hotel of Le Meridien, Prime is not your usual restaurant for western cuisine - in other words, a step above the rest. A premium level restaurant with a “Best Meat Place” award from Time Out Kuala Lumpur’s Food Awards in 2014. With the finest imported United States and Australian beef cuts and elegant floor to ceiling wine walls around the place, you can see why. 

A cosy and beautifully innovated private dining room that oversees the kitchen is as well available, for ten people. Of course with all this and a price tag, one would expect good service. Well, you would not get good service but exceptional service - greeting you at the front entrance to a good knowledge of the menu to making sure your wine glass is never empty and many more exceptional service. What I mentioned above is just the tip of the iceberg and I do recommend trying the place out to get the full experience.
