As its name suggests, Little Penang Café offers a menu that features most of the iconic food in Penang to cater to those who wouldn’t want to drive all the way to Penang just for it. Located in KLCC, Little Penang Café not only satisfies the craving of local Penang food to Malaysians but also succeeded in propagating local food to foreign tourists. The interior of the café is themed with a traditional Nyonya design with dark pine dining tables and chairs and a mixture of modern elements. We all have the perception that we either get the good food or great environment. Here in Little Penang Café, you get the best of both worlds.

Their Char Kuey Teow here is among the few of the chef recommended dishes, which is stated on the menu that you need to expect at least 20 minutes for it. But good food is worth the wait, the flat rice noodles stir-fried under high heat in a wok with a handful of bean sprouts, Chinese chives and eggs. The belacan added gives it a tingling spicy after taste but it is nothing too much to handle. If you are looking for something spicy, then you should definitely go for their Laksa. Rather than the usual Asam Laksa or Curry Laksa, opt for their Siamese Lemak Laksa instead. Unfortunately, this dish is only available during weekends.

While waiting for your mains to arrive, why not get yourself some local favourite appetizers to snack on. The Rojak and Pie Tee here is definitely some of the popular items on the menu, but nothing can beat the spicy yet smokey Otak-Otak which makes the perfect appetizer. Sweetened your meal with some desserts, the Cendols and ABCs here are not bad of an option.

Great environment and authentic Penang local delicacies, who would think that the place that offers the best of both worlds is just nearby.
