Looking for a place to satisfy all your wildest non - halal taste buds? Maybe a fusion of European, the Caribbean and Mexican food sounds good? Other than that, more questions. What do you normally think about when someone mentions to you, say your friend that they are in the mood for some good porky dishes for dinner? Would you immediately think about the hefty price you got to pay? Or the simple fact of a typical Chinese restaurant that serve oriental cuisine? Whatever it is, going to a place like El Cerdo, you will surely be in for a treat.

Situated in the busy capital of Kuala Lumpur, or more specifically, Changkat Bukit Bintang, this restaurant is what one would call a step above the rest, or in other words, a premium level restaurant. Specialising in home - cooked pork dishes from all over the world, Chef Werner Kuhn spent close to a decade perfecting the art of cooking pork for all fans and not fans to love it. Ambience wise, one can expect something similar to a five star business hotel restaurant. Service here is good as well with very friendly and willing people running the equally eager restaurant. Tables and chairs all nicely arranged so that everyone feels comfortable and spacious while enjoying their meal. Speaking about meals, do give their Pork Belly Fettucini a go.

It is cooked with red wine and served with smoked bacon. For desserts, Andreas Special "A Dream I Chocolate". This mouth - watering dessert features vanilla ice cream, milk-choc mousse, chocolate crumble, bananas in passion fruit and pear in red wine. Hickory Smoked Iberico Soft Ribs and Fresh Oysters Served on Ice with Shallot Wine also are some dishes not to be missed out.
