Best Italian Restaurants in Subang Jaya

Written by Updated ago

Elisha Cuthbert once quoted “-“There’s nothing more romantic than Italian food ..” and I have to agree with it. Unlike French, Italians aren’t into the delicateness of their food but rather focuses more on enhancing its simplicity through very common and basic ingredients such as potatoes, tomatoes, cheese or bell peppers. It is also through this easily accessible ingredients and tastes, which makes italian one of the most well known cuisine in the world. Even for Malaysians, some of us crave for that creamy carbonara or pepperoni pizza once in a while. I mean, what’s not to love about comfort food? As of today we’re about to explore some of Subang Jaya’s best Italian restaurants , and to provide a little more insight of what true Italian cuisine is all about ..

    Capricciosa 2

A lot of restaurants can’t seem to wrap their head around how to execute good Italian food, fortunately Capricciosa is not put in that fold. The Italian dishes here are kept simple and stick to using fresh ingredient when making their food, ultimately leading to great results. One such instance of this is shown in the creamy porcini that consists of fresh handmade pasta, giving it a texture that’s vastly different from most plates of pasta. The sauce is a cream sauce that’s laced with small bits of porcini mushrooms, which make the sauce both earthy and fresh, as well as being rich. There are also shimeji and eringi mushrooms added to this plate of pasta which give it an unmistakable umami.

    Tips

Eat the pasta quick to avoid having to it in a slightly unpleasant state.

    Things to expect

The pastas can be enjoyed in 3 different sauces, be it a tomato sauce, meat sauce, or a cream sauce.

    Best with

A glass of fresh fruit juice will help cut through the richness from the creamy porcini.

    RM33.90
