Em by Tedboy Kuala Lumpur

As you wander along the streets of Pudu, an old area of Kuala Lumpur you have to stumble into Em by Tedboy – a hidden gem in the midst of the bustling area. The owner’s second child, Mathilda was the source of inspiration to the creation of Em by Tedboy, a sister restaurant of Tedboy Bakery in Bangsar. Em is a two-storey restaurant located strategically in Hotel Transit opposite to Pudu Sentral as you can easily access by public transport. Let Em offer you simple, wholesome food as well as delectable sweets while you admire its unique and chic interior.

Bringing you Mediterranean with a hint of Asian influence to its menu, Em brings you to travel the world through their food. You can start with their salad, Asian Tabbouleh – an interesting and fun combination of couscous, fresh herbs, egg wedges, dried shrimps and salted fish dices served on a bed of romaine lettuce. Move forward with either their noodles and pasta or Em’s Smokin’ Salmon pizza with generous slices of fresh smoked salmon topped on a thin crust pizza base with a slather of cream sauce and mozzarella and sprinkled with chopped spring onions.

If your tummy longs for more, their Matador in Kyoto will surely stop your tummy from rumbling. This Valencian paella dish is made with Japanese grain rice, mussels, calamari, prawns, edamame beans, tomatoes, capisicum and spices with nori strips as garnish and a lemon wedge for a touch of freshness. Other dishes such as Moroccan Lamb Tajine, #SquadGoals platter, Under The Sea pizza, Big Pho Ga noodle and more are available.

While you are at Em by Tedboy, saying no to desserts is not an option. Go for their New Yorker, a rich and dense cheesecake, Merry Berry cheesecake, Strawberry Shortcake, Panna Cotta or their Crème Brulee for a sweet little pick-me-up along with a cup of their coffee and other available beverages.
