Is your stomach empty and growling after a long day of shopping? Walking around 1 Utama and it just so happens to be either lunch or dinner time? Craving for traditional Chinese cuisine with a large variety of foods and classic Malaysian beverages or desserts? The one place you have to be at is Oriental Cravings located on the Ground floor in the 'Rain Forest' section.

Being very reminiscent of coffee shops (a.k.a kopitiam), this secluded Chinese restaurant serves a variety of foods such as Honey Glazed Chicken Wings, Caramel Pork Ribs, Mee Suah, Sambal Petai on Fried Fish, Crispy Oatmeal Prawn, Fried Bee Hoon, omelettes, beancurds, soups, Curry Mee, Ice Kacang, a whole variety of noodles and the list goes on. The restaurants seems to serve simple meals among the most luxurious of meals you will find in a mall. Notably, the delicious Curry Mee is made nyonya style with roast pork and the Mee Suah explodes with both aroma and flavour as the wine heavily carries the aroma. This place proves that quality street food has its place in the most unsuspecting developing areas of Malaysia. The prices of these foods ranges from RM13.90 to RM65.90, excluding beverages, snacks, and desserts.

The restaurant is also a great place for having a light snack and tea with some friends and/or family. For snacks and tea time they serve yam cakes, toasts, soft-boiled eggs, Japanese green tea, Hainanese tea, Charcoal roasted Segamat Coffee, among other items. For dessert, they serve a myriad of cooling longan drinks, Cendol, and ice-blended items.
