Greymorningsky is a cafe located in the newly introduced EX8 complex in SS13, Subang Jaya, which is surrounded by many industrial compounds and other landmarks like the UCSI International School. Co-founder Nicholas Cheng started this cafe in 2014, with his travels into busy cities such as Japan being the prime source of inspiration, where folks would go to ‘Zen Gardens’ to get away from the mechanical hustle and bustle of the city life.
The cafe is comprised of a two-level space with a photogenic look & easygoing feel, attracting mainly customers so far from the Ex8rcize Gym & City Harvest Church that currently occupy the EX8 building too. Due to the layout of the compound being the way it is, there’s usually plenty of parking space, and a great deal of sunlight that shines through the building; which is in significant contrast to the other cafes around the area which tend to have dim lighting to set the atmosphere.
As far as food goes, the menu is very simple, concise, and predominantly comprised of a selection of cakes. Some of these cakes include red velvet, hazelnut nutella, banana chocolate chip, and Hepilicious biscuit cheesecake. In terms of the other items outside of cakes, customers can enjoy panini, bento sets, and big breakfast.
Being a cafe, it is only natural to expect a decent spread of coffee here. The coffee list includes short black, Piccolo, flat white, latte, and cappuccino. Should coffee not be to you taste, there’s also hot/cold chocolate, tea, and juices. Also, if you're looking to wrap up with a kiss of sweetness, sheer selection of Magnum ice creams are available.
So head down to Greyskymorning to take the edge off of the hustle and bustle that is the city life.
