The day comes where Epicuro takes its influence to USJ Taipan, Subang Jaya. As to compare to the other location, it is less busy here in the streets of USJ. By offering a more spacious space, a similar cosy simplicity interior and good food is offered to patrons in the neighbourhood. The menu here reappears most of Epicuro’s signature dishes yet there are a few new ideas brought by co-owner Lee Yugin while keeping the menu tight and focused.
While you are there, it is hard to miss on their signature Big Breakfast that serves wholemeal toast, cherry tomatoes and mushrooms, pork sausage, pork bacon, hash browns along with your choice of sunny side up or scrambled eggs. The Waffle Brunch is also a favourite among patrons.
As for mains, fish your tummy with their signature Fish and Chips made with breaded fish fillets served along with spicy fries and a homemade Tartare sauce. For a porky adventure, you can never go wrong with a hearty plate of Pork Chops made of succulent pork chops with mushroom cream sauce and a bacon potato salad. Other dishes available are sandwiches, pastas, salads, side snacks and soups.
Not many cafes do justice to waffles however that is not the case here at Epicuro. Go back to basic with their Old School Classic which serves crisp golden brown waffles simply with butter and maple syrup and go extra with added ice cream of Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla, Cereal Killer and Dulce De Leche just to name a few.
Besides waffles for dessert, why not indulge on their brownies with homemade dulce de lech ice cream, homemade tiramisu with copious amounts of alcohol and others alongside a cup of coffee.
