Located at Subang Square nearby INTI and Taylor’s College in Subang Jaya lies Big hug Burger, one of the many burger joints around the area. The restaurant was opened in April 2013 and is the brainchild of a husband and wife duo. The duo chose their interesting name simply because they wanted to share the love and passion for good food. Additionally, they wanted customers to feel like they were at home. The husband, who happens to be a graphic designer, partially succeeded with this by filling the walls with neat designs. The restaurant greatly serially attracts the college student crowd that’s pervasive in that area, which can also be attributed to the teddy bears on the couches in the restaurant and contemporary pop music playing in the background.
As far as the food is concerned, Big Hug Burger places a heavy emphasis on using comparatively healthier ingredients, from whole meal buns to grass-fed Aussie beef & fresh corn oil. Some of the burger options available include their eponymous Big Hug Burger XXL, grilled lamb burger, soft shell crab, grilled salmon burger, and much more. One of the burgers worth mentioning is the Nacho Nachos Burger, which features two slabs of breaded mozzarella instead of burger buns that sandwich a thick beef patty. Beyond burgers, there are also other dishes such as dishes such as pasta. All of the food served here can also come in a combo which includes fries and a soft drink.
So head on down to Big Hug Burger to try out some of the best burgers in the Subang Jaya area.
